Missing Worship

January 10, 2013

Hi there Lovely Dolls!

Last year, in the seven months out- of-work most are spent in church. Not to mention I'm part of our church's music team. I sing and dance for God and eventually, I learned to play some instruments in the long run. I'm happy that our church gave me "break" for music :) I may boast that my voice is wonderful and can dance well but, nothing else will be better when you used your voice and body to worship God. Right?

Now, Ive felt guilty inside. Ive been away in church for months now. To be honest, Ive been missing the days where my Spirit's on high, High in worshipping my God. I'm not doing anything "bad" as you may think now but my Spirtual life has becoming dry and I DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN. I don't want to think that my recent job is the culprit of this self-reproach issue, cause I can see that my work environment are good, nice and healthy. I've got workmates who are believers. The only thing that I can see as "not good" is my Sunday's booked for work and that may affect my  spiritual time.

Don't get me wrong with the statement above. I respect our company, I respect my boss. =)

... here's the THING
I think  this is God's challenge for me. I've realized that even if your away on church, that does not mean your gonna stop worshiping.  No its not. Distance does not matter to God, only TIME does matter to Him. The time you're going to spend for him. Time that you are going to read the Bible. Time for worshiping , praying and getting spirits high. Time for helping and encouraging others. Time for sharing His words. (Smells remorse here). There is just really time if you really want to and that hit me.

Maybe this is subtle to understand as of the moment. But you know what? I've been grateful that I'm having this feeling. So ironic it may be but this signifies that I'm craving for God and for His fire and holiness.  Lord keep the fire burning in my heart!

Have a great weekend . =) God Bless our hearts.

Remembering 2012 and Welcoming New Year

December 31 ,2012

Howdy Dolls? Time passes so fast right? How many hours from now , we will end up 2012 and welcome the year 2013. Hows your 2012 ? I guess there are lots of things or events that put marks in your life. I do have also, and I want to thank God for all those things, whether it made me cry or laugh.

I thought this year is my year. The thought of being a "Dragon" baby will give me lucky charms. However, I think this year was a struggling - glorious year. What does it mean? I was struggling when it comes to my career. STILL. No good news. I resigned to my previous job to took up nursing but seven months of being jobless wasn't a great idea anymore.I need to find a job! and OLA! I got one, but not as a nurse. Nevertheless, I still welcome the thought of being one. Glorious on the other hand , because of the seven months out of work I became closer to our GOD. I got ministered in music and even learned to play some instruments. I became productive, not just on talents but even spiritually.

Hey dolls! Not to mention on Travels and Adventures! :) I've been always grateful for the chance of Travelling, Exploring, and Adventures. Lists of places to go, and adventures to try is always full. I've been happy also to met people who have the same passions with me like Joann, Manny, Tony , Shing and Zaldy. People that inspires me to do what I want and love. I was in the thought of the greatest regret aren't the things you've done but the things you didn't do. I was just taking chances for this, I don't know when will I ever got to do it. I guess that made sense :) The LUZON trip was amazing and unforgettable. The days where I keep on coming back to IGACOS are awesome. To try the minor climb was a dream come true (APO's going to be next). A 24 hour trip to Saranggani and South Cotabato was crazy however it was fun! :) Looking forward for more travels next year!

Thank you Lord for this year. Thank you for my family. Thanks for the friendship. Thanks for the talents. Thanks for the opportunities and blessings. May the coming year be more fruitful and glorious.

I pray that you may heal aching hearts Lord. May the people that are affected of the Typhoon Pablo find peace and strengthen them as they face the new year. May you guide all my love ones. I bring back all the praises and adoration.

And here are some of my NEW YEAR'S favorite Bible Verses

    * 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
    * Isaiah 40:31Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
    * Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

My Real Place

You don't have to live very long before you painfully realized that nothing lasts in this world. The designers bags, shoes, your clothes that you bought in dollar tags are now on hand-me-down box. Your house with amazing architectural design  can be rotten and fall down. Even on relationship that you keep enduring will fail at end. Well, if you live in this world, all is uncertain, just temporary. Have you noticed that some people are on busybodies making themselves greater, richer, powerful but at end, when they die , they can't bring forth to their graveyard all their money and popularity but they remain nothing of value six feet below the ground? That's pretty sad.

I would be very hypocrite to tell that I don't want to get rich. Of course! Everyone wants it or need it badly depending on the persons state of living. But I always thought that this earth only offers temporary happiness, nothing lasts forever and change is inevitable. I've realized that God made all things great and small and only He has the authority to destroy anything He made.

Hey don't get me wrong. Its okay to have treasures here on earth but lay up your treasures in HEAVEN. What about riches if you don't have JESUS in your heart? Nonsense.  Make investment on eternal life where enough is understatement. In heaven, we don't need to endure life there. But, we are going to enjoy the riches, abundance, overflowing mercy and love of God for us. We will not worry any longer cause nothing will be rotten, nothing will break, nor fall down or fail- all is EVERLASTING. How wonderful it is!

I always foresee HEAVEN as my real place and I really want to go there badly. And I think, the greatest treasure lies in there. :)

John 14:2

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Revelation 21:4

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

What is a Strong Woman?

July 12,2012

A strong woman is one with a mind of her own, gifted with smarts and common sense. Otherwise, she would simply be stubborn and obstinate, a shrew, a termagant.
A strong woman sees life for what it is, and will deal with it on the terms she has chosen. She respects her own person and understands her worth, and looks out for herself and the people she cares about.
She tends to be successful, because she sets goals and works to achieve them. A strong woman will control her desires and feelings, especially is she knows that there's a dead end ahead.
Strong women from out-spoken and in-your-face to quiet but steely of resolve, to permutations in between. One characteristic that I've noticed strong women share is the understanding that knowledge and wisdom are important tools. So they take education seriously, because it represents independence, the ability to earn their own keep, and it opens up different options in their lives.
It's no wonder that strong women aren't too trusting, because they know only too well about human frailty and betrayal. So they tend to listen to words with a grain of salt. Men need to earn their respect and trust with their actions. And in every woman, as in every man, lies the wish to be loved truly. Good old-fashioned respect is indispensable in a positive relationship with a woman, whether personal or professional, romantic or platonic, whatever it may be.
As you would wish to be respected, then should you extend respect. Especially with a strong woman. Why? Well, because she is strong, so you don't want to face the consequences. That, of course, is tongue-in-cheek.

I've never believed that men are stronger than women or vice versa, because each gender is made and wired differently. There is just no apples-to-apples comparison. That's why we partner with and support each other. Its the best arrangement. And if a woman is strong, why then, celebrate and rejoice in her strength.

Above all, a strong woman is the one who fears GOD, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and constantly talking to Him through prayer. Who reads the Bible as her daily bread and guidance. A woman who lives in godly, modest and contented life. And foresee Heaven as her wonderful home.

Are you a strong woman??

PROVERBS 31:30 Charm is deceitful, beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised!

Our Greatest Need

July 9,2012

We are creatures with all kinds of needs. Without air, water or food for instance, we can't go on living. In addition to these absolutely basic necessities, we have a host of others that must be meet if we are to be healthy and happy. But these needs are just not physical, emotional and social; they are also spiritual.

I was a Christian for more than two decades now, and being one requires me to go to church every Sunday. I grew up in church, attend Sunday school, memorizing Bible verses, listened to Pastor's sermon, had friendship with the believers, and got ministered on music. Life of a Christian is like a roller coaster ride, it wasn't that easy at all. I had also my dark and lonely nights, doubts and fears assailed me, and a feeling of no escape of problem. I tossed and turned just as others do. I even asked God about my faith, minds in jumble, got to hold the bull on its thorns and ended up sinned.

Somehow, on marvelous way, I turned again to my Shepherd. I prayed, confessed my sin, asked for forgiveness and He forgive me again. I developed a wonderful relationship with Jesus Christ. Thought that I need God. That I'm sick and can no longer make it alone. I need God to help me give, because I no longer seem to be capable of giving. To help me kind,as capable of kindness. To help me love, as I seem beyond being able to love. By His Holy Spirit I enable myself to be kind, generous and loving.

For now, Ive been thanking God not just for the many blessings, but even on problems- that in it I realized that God was MY GREATEST NEED. = )

" When we have nothing left but God, we find that God is enough "

Matthew 4:4 It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone , but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. "

Affection

June 13,2012

Everything has ended right away. It was like a dream that after waking up, the story has ended also. It was like a movie without part-2 , that left you wondering what's the next story. Its like prowling outside but didn't really actively looking for something. The truth is, your mind wanders somewhere far away. Then sadness creeps in, bitterness started to control you, "move on" seems the hardest words you ever heard. The moment you started begging for that something, was the moment you petty yourself. It was an inconsolable time, perplex mind was its peak. Your working but end up procrastinating. Everyday was a bummer, crabby attitude was evident. Have you ever wonder how expressive of sorrow your life is?
But at the end of the day you still can say, " Happy to someone who have built extensions to my boat and have made marks in my heart." Then  RESILIENCY become your favorite word and liked so much the Buddhist proverb, "The lotus blooms most beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud."
The Bible became your favorite book, you meant it as a bread for daily used, and so it was. Day and night you spend time reading and understanding it. You've found out that the word of God answers what you keep praying on. That in His words and presence you've find peace and strength. "Heaven and earth shall passed away but my words remain forever." Then on you relent on forgiveness, you've learn to let go, you've learned humility. Someone then asked you, " How did you find peace?" You answered, " You've got to let go of the stuff- because it just doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what you choose to be now." -from watching Kung Fu Panda =) But the real thing is this, you've learned a striking Bible Verses during you Sunday School.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

"You cannot changed the cards that was given to you, only the way you deal with them." If God allows you with circumstances still, give thanks! Pretty sure with the help of God's grace, you will overcome it and end victorious. God Bless you all!

Our Tomorrows

June 2,2012

While we wouldn't want to argue with Jesus, we may sometimes wonder if His words about worry are realistic. After all, shouldn't we be concerned about tomorrow? Suppose we get laid off from work? Get sick? Isn't fear that we won't have bread and threads and shelter one of the strongest fears we have?

No words in any language can produce more anxiety than the question, "What if?" As we mutter them, we begin to imagine one bad possibilities together. We don't think about the fact that our needs have always been met in the past and that we have enough for today. There is always that uneasy dread that tomorrow our well may run dry.

While it is certainly wise to plan for the future, the imagined thirst of tomorrow, even though our well is full today, is one thirst that is unquenchable. Jesus taught that worrying about the future is futile. We shouldn't be traumatized by what might happen or by what might be required of us. The imaginary need of tomorrow is one need that God cannot meet.

If God has given us food and drink enough for today, why not let Him worry about our tomorrows?

Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.  Luke 12:22

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things.  Matthew 6:34

Saturday Thoughts

April 28,2012
I chose to be Beautiful.

Watta thought! Let's just say I'm a bit narcissistic today hehe. When I was young, I don't see myself as very attractive (even now). I'm not a head turner, I was just a flower in a wall with no one wants to pick up. Maybe because I was really fat and dark that cause me to petty myself much before. I just realized that beauty isn't only superficial but skin deep. Being beautiful starts from within yourself that reflects outside. I just noticed that women who are happy living the life they love, are the ones who are really beautiful. It isn't limited to physical attributes, or just how the person acts on social settings, but its living a wonderful and great life that makes someone glow.

In my life's relation, this April has been the worst month of year 2012. I was really in the state of always welcoming negative thoughts that cause me to worry much and thus became a worrywart. I tend to write posts on this blog but it all turns out to be drafts! I couldn't finish it since I cant concentrate. I was filled with anxiety to things that I'm not sure to happen or never will. Then there comes a time that I looked myself in front of the mirror. I saw a ugly duckling! Where's the swan?! (echos). I was stressed and I didn't looked good. So I tried to think. Worrying doesn't improve what my future plans, It only ruins my time at the present which I was supposed to be enjoying. It's futile to fret, cause worrying will not change anything, it doesn't solve any problem at all.  It only makes me feel depressed and ugly. So, I shake that stressed away baby and chose to be PRETTY! :)

We mostly forget that it is the quality and not the quantity of life we need to feel in order for us to have good outlook and beautiful life. Its better to add life to your years than to add years to your life. Let's just enjoy life and what it will offer us and most importantly, what we accomplish for the Lord makes our life  more meaningful :)

so I need to rephrase the thought mention above:

I chose to be Beautiful - Holistically

Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:30

Photos

April 1, 2012

Hello dolls! :) Presence of Holiness is here- Easter's coming!

Being a wanderlust, I'm also a shutterbug! I do love traveling but I love more taking pictures on the places I've been to. Capture each moment, each view of that place I visited- as they famously say " take nothing but  pictures" . I can say, photography is one of my precious passions (echos). Given a chance to hold and used a Canon DSLR cam in Baguio City on our last big  travel in Luzon, I never think twice anymore or hesitated but grab it immediately with such peak of excitement! "This is my moment", I said to myself. So without further adieu, I'll like to share couples of my shots in Baguio City and the very subject?? STRAWBERRIES!! hope you enjoy it!

Yum- yum-Yum!
that's it! I know I'm only an amateur photographer ,but I was really happy with  the  result on my photos. I've felt I was professional one, especially when someone likes it on facebook , or commented how the shot looks great! It fattens my heart and I got overwhelmed hihi. I desired a DSLR cam eversince, and I got sad when I give it back to the owner :(  (Kung pwede lang nakawin tsk!). Anyhow, I always wanted to invest such kind of camera in the future- I'll just need to save more and more and more haha. I like it to be my 25th birthday gift  for myself :) , still have two years to work on it haha. Who would like to sponsor?? JOKE! Happy Holy week! May the presence and guidance of God will be with you and your family always :) Let's be more closer to God as we work through Lent and Easter.

FOR INDEED CHRIST OUR PASSOVER LAMB WAS CRUCIFIED FOR US. THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST, NOT WORTH OLD LEAVEN,NOR WITH THE LEAVEN OF MALICE AND WICKEDNESS, BUT WITH THE UNLEAVENED BREAD OF SINCERITY AND TRUTH  ( 1 CORINTH 5:7-8)

SAYONARA 2011 - ALOHA 2012

 HI FRIENDS! Howdy??

The year of the Tiger 2011 has come to an end and year of the WATER DRAGON of Chinese Lunar Calendar is coming soon! I'm a little bit excited cause I was born at Dragon's year and I hope 2012 will gonna be my year ^.^ . At this end of the year I made so much realizations in life- I discover my life more . I laugh this year, I cried, I accomplished something, I become more outgoing etc. So to make this post more valuable I want to share and bring back those moments that I have done and experienced within this year. This would be random (depending on what come first on my mind)

1. ADVENTUROUS
This year, I made myself more outgoing! I really loved adventures , travels and facing fears at the same time! Thanks to my adventure bud Joann, who is the person I'm with during the moments I've done scuba diving , wakeboarding , zipline and the latest water rafting. We mostly agree anything about adventures like the place, budget, date, etc. I've also done adventures without her like the SkyWalk in Cebu City and enjoying Loboc EcoPark adventure in Bohol. I never limit myself to these things because this makes me happy and it's a chance of a lifetime to experienced those- though it may be a bit expensive <3 Looking forward for our Northern Luzon trip this 2012, really can't wait! :) As long as you're still young and flexible then grab the chance of doing it! don't wait to get old and sickly coz your time, movement will be limited already and for sure, you wouldn't enjoy it!
Matthew 6:20-21
" But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys
and where thieves do not break in and steal"
" For where your treasure is there your heart will be also"

2. BREAKOUT!!
What kind of break out is it? none other than the despairing pimple breakout! This is such a lost confident event for me since I looked so ugly with the rapid pimples going out on my cheeks. I lost my clear skin :( Everyone was asking why did I get pimples? They used to know me way back highschool and college not to have one. Keep on hearing words such as "anung ginawa mo sa mukha mo?" , "stress kaba grace?" , "in love ka noh?" LOL. This was so devastating! giving me low self esteem! I think I got it on so much thinking of anything that causes undue stress! I've tried different products already even the innocent safeguard soap lol! It could be hormonal maybe? (self-diagnosis hihi) but I really don't know the culprit! I just kept on consulting it to Dr. Google- maybe given some time I'll consult it to a dermatologist and shell out another hundreds!!!  anyhoo, thank God its all getting well and healing little by little. grrrr...needing so much patience on my face. I just hope it will all soon pass.
Romans 12:12
" Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer "

3. SOLITARY TRAVEL AND FIRST TIME IN MANILA!
It was my first time traveling alone and my first time going Manila :) it was mixed feelings lol.  It was June 11,2011 that I went there and even at a very short stay, I knew what life may be staying on that city. Metro Manila was twice or thrice being so urbanized compare to Davao, and you know being so probinsyana as I'm- I'm always amazed by what there city look haha especially in Makati that I crane up my neck to those tall, big buildings haha. I also tried the MRT and LRT for the first time- which made me feel ignorant riding a train!( coz no train in Davao!) boooo hehe . Ocean Park was part of the itinerary -If you were a kiddo, you may find the place very enjoyable (having the thoughts of bringing my little cousins there soon) though I find some other shows such as the Musical Fountain a blast! :) Mall strolling was done also in Trinoma, on the other hand in MOA where we had dinner. Going to 168 mall in Divisoria was not in the plan but I bought a bunch of pasalubong for family and friends and nothing for myself ! haha. Most things Ive done in Manila was FIRST TIME! LOL credits to the person whom I visited there and who is HE??yes HE's a guy! find on the next number :)
 Philippians 2:3-4
" Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better
than yourselves. Each of you should not look only to your interests, but also
to the interests of others."

 4. LOVE FAIL!
This part would be kinda dramatic hehe. This year I fall in love again but unfortunately failed at end, sounds really corny but I did! When I say "I love you"- i really mean it! hehe I had a previous relationship before and was my first lover but he just kicked me off way back 2010. It was more than a year that I recovered from that heartbreak when I knew someone ♥ This someone is from Manila. Not to be so biased with my ex, this person was so different at first - he was so sweet, and that was my weakness! He's the person I visited in Manila but at end again, he dumped me. LOL Again, crayola moments! It was really hurtful and again, I did the sucky begging moments not to leave me haha.. well, there still part of me that misses him. As they said, "the hunger for love is difficult to remove than the hunger for bread" haha, but then again I need to face the truth - hes gone already.
p.s.
is distance really matter? I really don't think so.. as long as LOVE and TRUST is there.
Psalm 118:8
" It's better to trust in the Lord, than to put confidence in man"

5. BLOGGERIFFIC!
September 9,2011 - This year I just created my first blog site and I was so proud of it! my blogsite :) Never did I think of having one. Seriously, I really don't have a knack in writing as what I'm always saying but thanks to my friend Joann who believes in me that I can make it and eventually at end, accomplished this one! This blog site has become a virtual diary, where I can always share my thoughts, travels, adventures and everything under the sun! It created another venture and that I become a lover of reading and writing, awesome change indeed. I been loving my site since the first time I created it and makes sure that I can post something each month on it :) This is one of the evidence that Ive been changing my boring life into a useful one that adds up improvement on what I think, decide and live on. :)
Psalm 34:1
" I will extol the LORD at all times; His praise will always be in my lips "

6. DIFFERENT BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
The tradition of our family since 1991 is to celebrate my birthday in cemetery-always! It started up when my mom passed away and just so unfortunate that my birthday falls on November 01! Anyhoo, this year I celebrated my 23rd birthday and I'm getting older geee! To let go of our tradition I opted to celebrate my birthday on other place and picked up the idea of Beach! :) The serenity and tranquility of the beach appeals so much to me. I really want to feel the waves that struck on the shore and find meaning on it (in short, emote! hehe). I don't have so much guests on my birthday. I decided to make it a secret and private coz I only want my family to be around- but Febi my friend, found it out! I can't ignore her so, she and Bryan joined the celebration!Just so sad that my bestfriend Franz couldn't come due to busy schedules and had been working at Gensan.
Psalm 118:24
"This is the day that the LORD has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it"

7. OUT OF THE SHELL
This year I can sense that I've been changing styles, trying to get out of the "conventional" type me who is very conservative. Being "polo shirt" girl, Ive been always stuck to this attire since college. Wearing polo shirt is good for everyday work either casual or formality, and eventually this year I started wearing the smaller outfits and more skin appearing haha. I never tried going out on town wearing shorts or sleeveless haha coz I want the "so-wrapped looked"- means jeans, tshirt , long sleeve or cardigan. As what I'm always saying I'm not into fashion because of the fact that I'm plump and morena, and the selfish thought that only skinny, tall and pearly white skin individual is for fashion. But hey! thanks to the plumpinay I've made such improvement on my self, or shall I say a "late bloomer" hehe - you can always look good as long as you want and enjoy it :) I even threw a party before with my two closest friends Febi and Franz, it was called " Sleeveless party" and " Dress party" haha just to get out of shell and show some skin! well, this one is an improvement in my lifestyle-it did well anyway :)
Colossians 3:23
" And whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men"

8.CAREER DILEMMA
This year ive been contemplating on my career path. I was stuck on the decision whether to pursue nursing or not. It's been two years already that Ive stayed here at summit world (Cebu Pacific)  my first company to work with. Within that two years many things happened and changed. It started in here that I become outgoing because of a flexible schedules, that I can leave at a specific date where I had a travel. I had my salary every 15th of the month which is a big help, that I may able to save money for myself. I can buy things I want and even share a little for our house needs. This work is such a blessing and Ive been thanking God for this- even if its not my field (too far). My family was happy when I graduated college and even more happier when I passed the Nursing Liscensure Exam - but I didn't pursue it. I know that I was already left behind in my profession. My friends and batch mates are now staff nurses in different hospitals, though other friends still left wandering on being jobless as a nurse. Now, when Ive already decided to step down this 2012 another event made me think twice again- I was promoted to a regular employee ohemmgee! Again, another dilemma.
 Philippians 4:19
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His richness in glory by Christ Jesus"

9. SERIOUSLY??
On all the things happened in my life such as lovelife, family, finances and career many people told me that the way I speak, act to them sounds am really serious - they said Ive changed already. Being a cheerful girl and loves to joke so much before has now become serious on life. I don't know, there's just something on me that the way I decide on life should be taken seriously and according to God's plan. Well, most of the time i don't go with the flow- I was firmed with what I decide and avoid being compromise. At age 25 I hope and pray that my life would be stable and have a career that is really for me and not just being a product of positive inputs from others- cause this may lead me to achieve less than what I deserve. They said, don't take life seriously enjoy the moment of it. Yes, I do believe in that! There are just certain things that I need the "seriousness" be involved especially when it comes to my life.
Matthew 6: 22-23
" The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
"But if your eye is bad, your body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you
is darkness, how great is that darkness!"

10. ADD-UP PATIENCE
One of my desirable virtue that I can boast to everyone is having the power of PATIENCE ^.^. This is the goodness in me that Ive been thanking always :) Somehow, this year I found out my self being instantaneous, well not always but sometimes and Ive been thinking "is still patience a virtue for me?". I don't want to lose this gift God give me cause I will really need it in times when I'm down and confuse. There's just sometimes especially this year that I just can't wait, and taking for granted the essence of the virtue. I've been repenting it to God that just even a glitch of undesirable circumstances, triggered me to have wild mood swings. But you know, you can always learned from your mistakes and I know that I need to add up more patience hormones on myself. God has been giving me more spices in life, and I know that's part of making me more stronger, more mature. He knows that He is always the ONE i will call up every time this occurs and God will never forsake me for that. Good things will come to those who waits.

Christmas 2011

OH YEAH.. well.. first of all..
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! :)
and New Year's coming near :>

How did you celebrated the Christmas?
of course, the tradition...
Noche Buena? Gift giving, receiving? Gone to church? :)
oh Christmas.. a such wonderful season!
but brothers and sisters,
let us not forget the real essence of this day .
And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the powerof the highest will overshadow you; therefore also, that Holy One is be born will be called Son of God"
Luke 1:35

That's it! Jesus Christ was born for us, our Emmanuel

"For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not be perish but have everlasting life"
John 3:16

Let's all give thanks! Let's celebrate for this day :)
Let's pray also for those who suffered from typhoon Sendong
that God help them to recover from what had happened
on their family, homes and city and may find inner peace within themselves.
Christmas is for EVERYONE! Christmas is LOVE!
GOD is LOVE - 1 John 4:8
and it should not only be a seasonal event where love is abundant
but then, lets make CHRISTMAS an EVERYDAY event :)

Happy Holidays Guys!
Godbless us all

My Simple Tribute to you...

I was shocked by the news.. Kuya Edgar passed away . . .

Kuya Edgar is one of the most important person when it comes to my spiritual life. He is one of those persons who encourages me to be STILL in my Christian life whenever I get tired serving the Lord. Who would have thought that at his early years in this world, God already sent Him to Heaven.

Last few weeks when given a time to had a sunday off, I was stunned by what our Pastor shared. Kuya Edgar was in the hospital suffering from his illness. I never thought he was ill because he was looking healthy. The sad thing was, he was not alone suffering it, but also his family due to hospital bills, medicines that they can't provide. Tears fall from my eyes- my heart was aching . I couldn't imagined how he was, a good servant of God suffered from this turmoil.

Last December 13, God already took him. He died in his home. His wake was in our church that time and given the opportunity to visit, me and my sister opted to went there- even when there is heavy rain outside due to Sendong, it never did discouraged us.
A white-gold plated coffin welcomed us. I looked at him inside his coffin where the glass turns out to be blurry maybe due to cold weather but then , I still managed to see him.  He was thin, big difference from the big body built he used to had  before. I saw his wife crying at the corner and I told myself not to cry also! I just let my eyes wander to other things so that I will not noticed Ate nik2x.
I got a chance to talked to his only child, SamBoy. An 8 year old boy who at that time only playing with his friend. I asked him , "kumusta na Sam?" he replied "ok lng, hayahay"- I couldn't get the idea of his answer, so I asked more. "na miss na nimo si Papa?" , he said " uu na miss uy! pati ni akong friend oh namiss sad sya" while pointing on his friend beside him. I didn't asked anymore, I get the point now. I realized at that age, he still cannot fully understand what death truly is. At first, he might thought of his father not around but never knew he will never come back again , ever. He may feel it when he will not see his father around their home anymore or is not present on the usual things they used to do. I understand this little boy.  I experienced it when I was a child -when my mum died. I was 3years old that time, and I only felt the desire of a mother's love and care when I got to highschool.

"Blessed are the dead who dies in the Lord, that they may rest from their labors and their works follow them"
Revelation 14:13

They said, do not sympathize instead empathized. Try to put your feet in their shoes. I know this is not easy for the family to accept such lose but as what as kuya Toto said, LET'S NOT BE SAD , LET'S CELEBRATE BECAUSE ONE OF OUR BROTHER DIED AND GOT TO HEAVEN! LET'S BE VICTORIOUS FOR THAT!  I realized that God is always there- in Happiness or Sadness. Death of our brother let me realized a lot of things :) All things happened for a purpose. We need  to see the goodness on our sorrows and at end, God was there standing waiting for us - cause He will never leave us :) Oh well, God is more than enough for us... :) I know the Delabahan family is always grateful and thankful for God even with this crisis going on - that's the Spirit of being God's children, a Christian.

I know Kuya Edgar was in Heaven now with our Father. I know that he was smiling and happy :P He has been victorious and being crowned already in Heaven for what he has done here on earth :)

and a thought goes out my mind like this :
"does someone need to die first before we realized how God works on our lives. We never realized it now unless someone will sacrifice "

" For to me, to LIVE is CHRIST and to DIE is GAIN "
Philippians 1:21

this post is dedicated to my fellow Christian and to the Family of Kuya Edgar
Goodbye Kuya Edgar Delabahan

Thoughts

I've been wondering always, that life is short..... short as it is.. you'll never know when your life ends.
Waking each morning is one of the best gift God has ever gave me.
The air i breathe, the water I drink, the food I eat three times a day,
seeing my family each day happy, NO, NO nothing can compare.

What are those that you don't have that God doesn't provide??
I don't want to demand so much in my life.
I was contented of it.. living life in Simplicity.
When blessing comes , then it would be extra Happiness.
It means, God was so GOOD ALL THE TIME :)

As far as I remember, I accept God to my life last April 2007
during our church youth camp. I was 2nd year college back then.
I accept Him not because I was forced to but my heart beat His name.
Things changed starting that.
I'm pretty much sure I wasn't the best servant God wants me to be.
I also disappointed God- there are times I became tired serving him
maybe because of some unnecessary pressures around
that I forgot about Him.

Ive also found out this year that my life's spices was twice the event compared last year.
Lots of problem occurred, but God was always GOOD.
He never left me. He never was. ^.^ and by that I was victorious!
We cannot really learn without pain but,
we can do everything thru Him that gives us strength.
When God takes something away from us, it only means that He has something better planned.
We just have to wait.

This Christmas, Ive always felt burning sensation in my heart.
Ive always wanted to have a mission - and that is to help.
Making life more sensible and meaningful. :)
Living on God's word :)
I hope one of these days I may able to accomplish it

again, I become emotera regarding this post haha
anyways, Live Life to the Fullest - in accordance to God's plan

Love Lots,

December

HOWDY FRIENDS! ^.^

December already started few days back and I haven't post yet something this month! gee...  I never did anything so special these past days and I think I just procrastinated on "DOING WHAT ONE SHOULD BE DOING" lol.
I was just feeling too lazy and tired starting this month! I dunno maybe because of the weather?? getting cold already, wind on cold breeze , always raining in the morning, getting shoe mud on the street which I personally don't like hehe - cause it turns me to be unproductive even at work hmp.
December is one of my favorite month - people in this month turns to be more generous , loving , helpful :) you know Christmas is here - where LOVE, JOY are everywhere! :P Nonetheless we should never forget on our tradition that Filipinos celebrate Christmas because it is the time that Jesus Christ was born and that's the most highlighted event of the month :) Even on religious individuals where Simbang Gabi was an activity and cause seething individual on catholic churches was never missed! ( I never did experience Simbang Gabi ever in my life hehe why? cause I was not born Catholic ) anyhow, to be honest despite on all the things I said about Christmas above I really can't feel it :( Hmm, I can't feel something for Christmas eve and not even excited about it rather I'm looking forward for the activities on upcoming weeks like our water rafting adventure, bracing my teeth, my kuya's "welcome home party" from other country and our company party hehe. Sound's really selfish on what I felt about December maybe because I tend to be sad with the weather here in Davao and it was overpowered by my emotion meh ganun? haha :P Sometimes, I even caught myself looking to nothing! LOL there's just something that I really can't explain , there's something lacking hmm.. emotera si ate hehe but hey! Ive noticed something about an happening that turns this month a little bit interesting hehe.

Since December 1 up to December 5, I saw from sky every evening a "smiling moon", cause the moon smiles! haha corny well in reality it's what you call "Crescent moon" that appears on the 1st and last quarters. It was straight five days! and I was in awe always when I craned up my neck to the sky and saw its shape SMILING on me, and has been soo bright every evening (exactly the photo above) wee...Another thing, the first and last evening I saw the moon, is with a star beside it!so cute! hehe  I'm not so superstitious but MAYBE, i GUESS .. It means something on me, for my life hahaha LOL  I was just amazed on the happening :) and you know, I have always a heart for MOONS and STARS. hehe that's why my profile name in FB is with "MOONLIT" in it (photo below) haha wala lang.. just wanna share :P I find them my attraction in the dark sky and get sad when It rains cause I couldn't see them being hide on clouds. Dunno, I'm just really fascinated with MOONS and STARS and will always be ^.^

anyways, maybe as Christmas will be coming the soonest my feeling for that day would change already, from LAZY moving to EXCITEMENT! hehe :) lets just see If I post something about Christmas eve hihi
